Kurdish oil tanker loaded with 300 thousand barrels heading towards Gibraltar

Erbil  –The President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani discussed with the German Foreign Affairs Minister Frank Steinmeier, who arrived on Saturday to Erbil the capital of Kurdistan Region, the file of the displaced families in the Region and the file of arming the Kurdish Peshmerga forces.

Informed source told All Iraq News Agency AIN “Barzani received Steinmeier in Erbil and discussed with him the crisis of the displaced families who escaped from terrorist threats to Sinjar mountain and the file of providing developed and complicated weapons for the Peshmerga forces.”

UN raises the degree of emergency in Iraq due to the harm repercussions of the humanitarian disaster

BAGHDAD   -The official spokesman for the UN mission in Iraq Ileana Nabah confirmed that the United Nations has stepped up the degree of emergency in Iraq to third-degree in line with serious magnitude of the humanitarian disaster and its aftermath and complexity.

The source added in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina /: “This procedure will facilitate the mobilization of merchandise or money resources, in order to respond most effectively to the humanitarian needs for saving the lives especially of those affected by the displacement.

Ebadi intends to hold Ministerial Reduction

KRG Requests Heavy Weapons

In an interview with BBC, Masrour Barzani, the Head of the Kurdish Security Council, has requested that the international community supply Kurdish security forces with heavy weaponry.
Barzani once again emphasized that there was no need for foreign military intervention with ground troops.
“We need more modern weaponry. We need heavy armor, we need effective weapons that can be effective against the force ISIS seized over the last month,” said Barzani.
His statement came out following a previously planned rescue operation for Yazidis trapped by advancing Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) forces.

Maliki tells Security Forces to avoid interfering in politics

The outgoing Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki vowed on Thursday evening to uphold his oath to defend Iraq and its people and point out that Iraq and its constitution was targeted by recent events, not al-Maliki.

al-Maliki said, in a televised speech in the presence of the designated Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, and members of the State of Law Coalition, that “I knew very well that I was not targeted in particular, but Iraq and its constitution. I have made efforts to thwart plots which target Iraq’s unity,” noting that, “I must correct any defects in respect to the trust given to me by the Iraqi people.”

al-Maliki said, “I will remain a soldier and defend the great Iraq and its people. I will support them and uphold my oath.”

al-Maliki said “I wish to thank the Iraqi armed forces, security agencies, volunteers and tribal forces. I advise them to focus on confrontation with our enemies and avoid interference in politics and sectarianism.”
