Jaafari: Government of political majority is perfect solution to run country
BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of the National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafari confirmed that the Government of the political majority , which includes all components , and not exclude any of the community parties is the ideal solution for managing the country after reviewing past experiences.
A statement from his office quoted Jaafari as saying, during a meeting with the Deputy Representative of the Secretary -General of the United Nations in Iraq, George W. Posten, which they reviewed the overall progress of the political process in Iraq , and situation of the National Alliance in the next phase , “The National Alliance of all its components unanimous commit to turn it into a political institution through its bylaw and with the commitment by all its parties . ”
He noted that: “The National Alliance had a neutral stance of all the issues that occurred during the past years , and it was able to deal medially with everyone and was not a party of any problem , as well as on its quest in the convergence of views between the parties .”
He stressed : ” seeking to form the government in accordance with the timings stipulated by the constitution, after the election results approved by the Federal Supreme Court.
Jaafari , according to the statement , thanked the Representation of the United Nations in Iraq for its constructive role to the High Independent Electoral Commission and provide advice ; for the success of the election season , and support democracy . / End
