Araji says that all sides failed in ruling Iraq
Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of Ahrar Parliamentary bloc, Baha’ al-Araji, said that all sides failed in ruling; pointing out that all sides want to divide Iraq to be able ruling part of it.
In a press conference held on Tuesday, Apr. 30, Araji said, ” It is regrettable that some are playing this issue, therefore dialogue must be the main issue, we all responsible for Iraq, not just the government, which could go and another come, we do not want to fragment this state.” He pointed out that Iraqi is going through a complicated and dangerous period, open for all possibilities.
Araji pointed out that there are foreign hands working toward keeping this situation to fragment the state; all must sit around table to solve the problem. He demanded politicians to stay away from sectarianism that harms the country.
He called to forbid shedding Iraqi blood, its institutions and armed forces, which is to protect the state of Iraq. “We do not want to go back to square one and to the civil war.” He added. / End.
