Iraq Financial News: A second meeting held today by Parliament presidency board with heads of parliamentary blocs on approving the budget.

This afternoon began a second meeting of the Presidium of parliament with heads of parliamentary blocs to discuss the approval of the federal budget for 2013.

A parliamentary source said the meeting held with presence of the parliamentary committee on Finance affairs.

The source explained that a prior meeting on this regard held this morning to discuss the possibility of voting on the budget at today’s session.

Speaker Osama Najafi adjourned the vote which was scheduled for today meeting for the budget bill for 2013 to Saturday for lack of a quorum.
