We are waiting on the public announcement… Not just in DC but across the world the frustration level is extremely high. Iraq’s GOI is done with all their cabinet ministers in place, filled with candidates with experience in their specific fields. Their cards are activated...We have a guy in Germany who is using the card with the new rate, and also guys in Jordan, Dubai and other places. They are using them like debit cards, with the new rates...[over three dollars]. So it’s there! The Finance Minister has been on the news every day saying they are the richest people or country in the world, and the foundation for prosperity in the Middle East. Guys in the US watching Iraqi television say that they are just waiting for the international agencies to adjust the rate for them. The UN is extremely happy where everyone is and want this revaluation to get done. Everyone is cued up and ready to go, excited about things.

A lot of people are very pissed off today, all around the world. We’ve talked to four different countries minimum that are pissed off at what didn’t happen. I want you to know that the people involved in making this happen surely are mad today. Iraq is ready...This country is able, ready and willing, and then on Monday they transferred that power over to another agency, so now Iraq cannot even push the button. Banks are prepared. They haven’t called security in for months, but had full security in today...They were directed on Monday to show up today, and they did. Things are still sensitive...things are still good, still moving forward. I wish it were a tighter window, but at least people are trying to get it done.

I will add that no one really knows a date of the RV we can only speculate from the information we receive. But I have been informed it will coincide closely to the announcement of the new government. We are once again in a very sweet spot to see the RV see something significant happen early next week.

Abadi wants to be done with his selection process by Monday and be ready to present to Parliament. Maliki still is not gone, and he still seeks what has been his for the last 8 years. Abadi doesn't appear to be afraid of standing up to the State of Law. Today [Tuesday], not much out of the CBI...so they must be working on something IMO.

So The government will be formed before we see an RV. We are very close but it is my belief now that they will do it after the government is formed. The government should be formed this week and maybe as soon as tomorrow. We will not hear that Maliki left until after that and it could be for many reasons... I anticipate that to happen [the RV] within a day or two of the announcement publicly, Iraq's government is complete which could be as early as this week or this weekend. Yesterday I sent out some news referring to a high possibility that we would hear of an announcement of a fully formed Iraq government by Sunday. It did not happen... So what is the hold up? ...we are now witnessing a total reworking of the 35 ministries under the prior 8 years of Iraq government...much more “house cleaning” than originally thought necessary. 8-17-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni The nomination of a new unified government has been hailed not only from within Iraq, but by the world community including the U.S, the UN, Europe, Iran, Saudi Arabia and many others. This new government will have its hand full trying to contain the violence and current terrorism from ISIL. But hopefully this message will take hold and work in a very positive way to force these terrorists out of Iraq. I am very optimistic that within a few months we may see discussion move from government news to economic news and once again the restructuring of the currency. We have clearly proven over the last few years that the many laws are stalled that have a direct impact in the economy of Iraq. That any currency reform is simply a part of the overall economic advancements including a transition to a market economy. 8-17-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 I am going to say this one more time...Maliki is STILL the caretaker Prime Minister of Iraq...he will be in that capacity until such time as Abadi's government is approved and seated...they HAVE to have someone running the country...Maliki is that person right now...yes Maliki IS stepping down and has conceded the job of Prime Minister to Haider Abadi but NOT UNTIL...such time he and his government is approved by Parliament.

As of September 11 the next Iraq constitutional deadline will expire for this task...on Thurs 8/14 we witnessed an announcement by the new Iraq prime minister Abadi that he would most likely have his council formed in only 48 hours. As you may already know that Iraq did finally shake off...the outgoing prime minister Nori Al- Maliki. He is still physically around Badgdad but he is not very public these days. 8-17-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Early on at the middle of 2008 it hinted at 86 cents when they did the strategic study, but even this article from early 2012 says 1 to 1 so it was higher already by the first quarter of 2012 than what the study recommended. From that we can conclude that as the reserves grow and circulating currency reduces, the rate is moving also. The longer they have held out, the higher it has become. They will hold the currency at what ever number they come out with for some period of time. The 2008 study suggested 2 years. Smalls were printed in 2012 per contracts let. Price of dinar is higher now by quite a bit. 1 to 1 was what they had planned to do before they even new the total damages in terms of debt. 80% of the debt has been paide. Most of the dinars collected off streets. Banks are now world ready and the reserves and gold are 2x's what they were. The government of Iraq will be chasing him shortly if he does. It is my belief Iraq is still reorganizing and is not ready to go after him just yet. But when the new government is ready, he better have disappeared. there is no ABSOLUTE immunity...immunity depends upon the nature and proof of the offense. I have been saying that there may not be alot of difference in the PM - designate and Maliki, both are Dawa party...i have not been calling for an rv just because Maliki will not have a third term...we have got to abandon this "culture " of near/immediate expectation on the RV. it is deadly for many.

i never thought that Maliki was "gone". He is still the incumbent Prime Minister, a true "lame duck", but still the chief executive officer. He did not resign...as i understand the parliamentary system, Maliki is entitled to a seat in Parliament. He got more votes than anyone by a wide margin...now, whether he is appointed or elected by Parliament to a more "sovereign" position remains to be seen.
He has agreed to abandon his bid for a third term and step aside in "due course", meaning when there is a duly elected/seated government. [post 1 of 2....stay tuned]
