Millionday talks foreign investment coming to Iraq.

Millionday Article quote “…the session went out important recommendations contribute to the entry of Arab and foreign investors the Iraqi market and to support the national economy.” this means that massive foreign investment is going to begin in Iraq and they have to have a reality rate in order to do that…they are preparing without a doubt to open the doors…the New Iraq…all of this is preparation for the rate and the doors to open for trade of their products and of course their largest product —THE DINAR.

8-11-2014   Newshound Guru Aggiedad77   Article: "Central bank: we have maintained the stability of the currency despite the instability in the markets" What better lead off story than from the CBI and Governor Turki this morning...he insists that despite the turmoil witnessed in the markets in recent days and the ongoing security issues around the country the CBI has maintained strong stability with the currency at the same time...he says the bank attempts to work equally with private banks and government banks alike...Turki is going a good job of showing strength for the CBI during all the upside down issues that Iraq is experiencing.

8-11-2014   Intel Guru TNT Tony    Over the weekend, on Saturday, Maliki moved stuff out of his office and started burning documents. Then on Sunday he changed his mind. But things are not as bad as it is portrayed to be. It may sound bad but it is right where we need it to be. We looked at all the news from around the world and we keep seeing "Iraqi crisis" but it's going from crisis to Christmas.   I don't expect it to take a long time but I don't expect it to happen in the next hour either. It still could be a tremendous week, month for us. We're in a good place.   [post 2 of 2]

8-11-2014   Intel Guru TNT Tony   [via Duke] The US Admin already made it clear they would back the new president before Sunday. So we knew who the new PM was. Because Iraq is so vital the entire world is taking a strong interest in this. Abadi has good reps and connections with all the sects and this will have a very calming affect throughout the country. [Have they officially sworn in the new PM?] It's in the Gazette and is being shown on CNN and in the US news. We got it from other countries before we heard it here. Yes, it's official. 8-11-2014   Intel Guru DC [via Duke] ...this morning they made it official, published it in the Gazette - made it official, that Abadi is the new PM. They have a judiciary ruling so it's unlikely changes will be made. The CBI said "we're good, let's go" and they're ready with a timeline, which we were asked not to share. In summary: everything in Iraq is wonderful. The PM drama has subsided in the past 2 hours, per texts I've been getting. It's becoming more secure and stable by the minute. The new PM has triggered events and we are all extremely optimistic that the timeline is close.

8-11-2014   Newshound Guru Doc   We do concur with a very few...that the likelihood of a significant RV is virtually zero. All factually information suggest the plan is for appreciation over time as the economy expands. We still have not ruled out an initial small RV but it is very obvious the plan for major currency valuation increase is from gradual appreciation. 8-11-2014   Newshound Guru Doc To speculate who will be PM at this point is a frustrating exercise. Rumors are all over the map and as we've repeatedly said we do not promote rumors. The key is actually very simple. What we want is the new PM/GOI to bring a sense of stability to the country. And we believe this will only happen if the GOI strikes an inclusive balance between the blocs. If it doesn't civil war may rage on for some time now. 8-11-2014   Newshound Guru Tlar   Turki put the following article out this morning saying the dinar is stable and has been unaffected throughout this process of government change, one of the two requirements for monetary change the other being the government issue "settled". The laws pertaining to money laundering are in place and the banking system is complying to international banking laws. Through this article and his statements, he is implying that Iraq is ready for a monetary change. Article: "Governor of the Central Bank and the Agency Abdul Basit Turki 08/11/2014 14:50 Tomorrow's Press / Baghdad: Student Central Bank of Iraq, Monday, private banks and financial trading companies to adopt mechanisms to the financial statements in accordance with the international regulations accredited." 8-11-2014   Newshound Guru Tlar   Iraq is in compliance with IMF's article VIII international currency rules which means they are ready to go international with their currency. The WTO says that Iraq has met all regulations to become a full member and is just waiting on the WTO to stamp their certificate of ascension (I believe they are doing what the WTO said they would do in 2009 and that is the minute Iraq goes international with their currency and gives it value, they will get that stamp). 8-11-2014   Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3   JUST GOT ANOTHER TEXT SAYING TURKI WILL REMAIN AT LEAST FOR A TRANSITION PERIOD OF THE NEW GOI, SO THAT SOUNDS VERY GOOD. WE KNOW HE HAS WANTED TO RESIGN FOR SOME TIME AND TRIED UNDER MALIKI BUT THAT WAS BECAUSE OF DISAGREEMENT WITH THE POSITION MALIKI KEPT PUTTING HIM IN. THIS IS SOUNDING VERY PROMISING. WE CAN SEE FOR SURE THOUGH THEY ARE NOT STATUS QUO THEY ARE IN A URGENT MOVE FORWARD MODE.   WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE NEW PM WE HAVE NOW INCREASED OUR POSSIBILITY OF THE RV BY 50% OR BETTER AT ANYTIME NOW.

8-11-2014   Intel Guru SteveI   I have every reason to believe my sources that is telling me that former Prime Minister Maliki is now officially history. Yes will continue to rattle some cages, but nothing will become of it. I hope now focuses on his exit plans vs. his continued third term. I do believe it he stays and causes trouble, he will be arrested pursuant to the current charges against him in the International Courts. Our day is almost here. Now the next focus will be the rest of the laws including the budget. Bright days ahead for all of us.

8-11-2014   Intel Guru Mnt Goat   So today’s news is all very, very good news as it went from very bad to very good in a couple of days once again. So the clock stops ticking and the new PM was announced today on Monday.   Ibrahim al-Jaafari said today in a statement that the alliance of Shiite political parties has agreed to nominate Haider al-Ibadi to replace Maliki and to form a new government. He is also voted in by parliament and accepted by the majority. He has not however taken his oath of office yet to begin his job. Since the PM is now selected (the third of the three presidents) we wait for the oath of office to be administered and the public announcement. This will be our sign that the RV is just around the corner. I want to emphasize once again this final announcement of the IQD going international will not happen until the USA feels the Iraq government is stable, non-sectarian and is a functional government.

Quotes: "Jaafari's office: infallible Abadi officially commissioned and convey it in a press conference" "Nominated and the Iraqi National Alliance, earlier in the day Monday, first deputy chairman of the Council of Representatives Haider Abadi for prime minister, a majority of 127 deputies." For over a month, it has been blatantly clear in articles that he [Maliki] was going to leave. I think he may now just move on fairly quickly. With the Supreme Court ruling against him today...he is totally without recourse. he is still PM of the caretaker govt until they vote in Abadi...according to a phone call I just got. the state dept has already met with Jabouri and Masaoum and is pushing hard to get this to Parl at the earliest moment.

But official reports now say Adadi is the name...There will be no constitutional legal arguments that have any merit, not with the US, Britain, France, and Japan overseeing the finer details.
